Arrival
We recommend arriving 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment so you may leisurely change and take advantage of our wonderful amenities.
If you have a Gift Card, please bring it with you. It must be presented at the front desk upon check-in.
Arriving late may result in a shortened appointment to prevent delays for others. The full fee will still be charged.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for canceling or rescheduling appointments. Appointment reservation requires a credit card on file, and cancellations with less than 24-hours notice will result in a full charge of treatment.
Scheduling
When scheduling your treatment, you may request a male or female therapist if you have a preference. All of our therapists, no matter their gender, are true professionals and provide treatments that we feel confident you will enjoy.
To ensure availability of your appointment time, we suggest you schedule your next visit before leaving. A credit card is necessary for reserving an appointment.
Canceling or Rescheduling Appointments
We ask that all appointments be guaranteed against cancellation or rescheduling with a major credit card.
Your card is not billed unless you do not show up for your appointment or call ahead and give 24 hours notice.
Guests are responsible for $55 per hour of services book regardless of the reason for canceling. We charge the same cancellation fee for all situations from flu bugs to child care issues. We appreciate you as our guest and hope that you understand this fee is designed to provide partial compensation for our highly skilled technicians. We wish to keep great employees at Shapes Salon and Day spa and this policy helps us do so.
General Information
Lockers are provided for personal belongings. We regret however that we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
In order to provide a relaxing experience for all of our guests, we ask that you turn off all pages and cell phones. Persons not receiving spa treatments are to remain in the retail boutique area. Children should not be left unattended.
Tipping
We are unable to add tips to credit card payments. We can add tips to personal check payments with a valid ID at the rate of $10 per service rendered.
Product Return Policy
We want you to be happy with all of your purchases from Shapes Salon and Day spa and offer a broad range of home care products for you to try. If your purchase does not meet your full level of expectation please return within 14 days of purchase to receive a full refund for purchase price with will be issued as a Salon/Spa credit.

When should I arrive for my treatments?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your treatments as to get changed into our plush robes and slippers, fill out any necessary paperwork so that we may give you the best and most relaxing of treatments.

How much should I undress for my massage?
We suggest that you undress to your level of comfort. Our robes and slippers are provided for you so undergarments are optional. During your massage, you are always draped and only the areas being massaged will be exposed then re-draped.
Are there any guidelines for scheduling your appointments?
Credit cards are needed to schedule appointments much like a fine hotel. Credit cards are never charged unless you fail to follow our cancellation policy. When using a gift card, the gift card must be present at checkout.
What is good spa etiquette?
We ask that you turn off cell phones and maintain a quiet voice in the spa and common areas to maintain the integrity of treatments of all guests. Smoking is not permitted in any areas of our spa.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
Your hair should be at least a quarter of an inch. You may trim areas before arriving leaving enough hair to wax.
Should I shave or wax the day before or the day of my body treatment?
Since both waxing and shaving exfoliate the skin, you will not want to exfoliate the area again with a scrub so refrain from both of these at least a couple of days before or after treatment.
How long should I refrain from using exfoliating products before I have microdermabrasion or glycolic treatments?
Every skin is different, but you should refrain using these products at least 72 hours before treatment, also discuss care of your skin with your esthetician.
